Snapshot Charts for CRM tm


Using

Once installed, Snapshot Charts for CRM tm will add the following settings page to your Microsoft Dynamics CRM v4.x navigation (usually under its own side area but possibly under the Settings area of your default Dynamics CRM installation).

  • Snapshot Dashboards - this is where you define individual and organizationally available dashboards which are simply collections of charts pulled together onto a common canvas
  • Snapshot Charts - this is where you define the combination of table, advanced find query, columns, and other properties of each chart you wish to create
  • Snapshot Widgets - this simple table provides a table to store data that does not normally reside in Dynamics CRM but you wish to make it part of a chart/dashboard
  • Snapshot Charts System Defaults - this provides a means to define the default dashboard that individuals will see as well as the default dashboard everyone will see if a default has not been assigned to a particular person
  • Snapshot Entities, Columns and Views - the CRM tables that have been created to store your saved Advanced Find queries and the table names (entities) and columns that make up those queries. 
  • Snapshot Charts Refresh - where you update these tables whenever you add or update an Advanced Find query that you would like to use as the source of a chart.
